The start date for this position is June 3, 2019. The position will remain open until filled.
Provides a full range of clinical services to Solterra Academy students and their families. Provides services to students in accordance with approved IEP goals and objectives and is accountable to the school Principal for IEP implementation. Provides consultation to classroom staff and develops effective individualized behavior plans for assigned caseload. Provides case coordination services and collaborates with community agencies and mental health care providers to facilitate the provision of comprehensive services. Supports transdisciplinary team functioning and the School Program. Conducts psychological evaluations as assigned.
Doctoral degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/School Psychology/ Counseling Psychology required plus completion of an APA approved internship. Minimum of one year of supervised experience in a treatment setting for children and adolescents.
Licensed by State of Connecticut Department of Public Health preferred
Post Doctoral Supervision available if needed
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
Certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention required with the first training course provided after hire date and maintained throughout employment.
