POST DOCTORAL – Position at Western Connecticut Behavioral Health in Brookfield, CT

The post-doctoral candidate should be able to perform both psychological evaluations and therapy with children, teens, and adults. Our referrals for psychological testing come from a variety of people, including local therapy providers, DCF, Court, and local doctors. Typical referral questions include autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and depression. Exposure to forensic evaluations will be available for those interested. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with individual, family, and couple's therapy. Group therapy experience available for those interested. Ability to attend school meetings and educational advocacy available. The ideal candidate will have a clinical or school background. Supervision will be provided to meet all state requirements. Our supervisors have different backgrounds and the post-doc will gain exposure to a multitude of different treatment approaches and testing techniques.
