CPA’s Child & Family Committee Meeting

Promoting Child Problem-Solving and Perseverance; Identifying factors that support effective approaches to learning

To all those who work with children and families — we are sending a reminder invitation to our next CPA Child and Family Committee Meeting:

*Date and Time: Friday November 1, 1:00-2:00

*Guest Speaker: Julia Leonard, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychology, Yale University

*Topic: Promoting Child Problem-Solving and Perseverance; Identifying factors that support effective approaches to learning

*LINK: RSVP below or email Dr. Barbara Ward-Zimmerman

Our guest speaker, Dr. Julia Leonard, is an early career developmental psychologist whose research has implications for parents and teachers.  Her results have not yet been formally translated into evidence-based strategies however she will be interested in your thoughts on this.  We can discuss the translation of science to practice while gleaning tips to share with parents/educators.
We look forward to having you join us!
Best,  Barbara Ward-Zimmerman and Sherry Kelly, Co-chairs, CPA Child and Family Committee
