REGISTER NOW for The Renfrew Center Foundation’s Spring Seminar Training
The Renfrew Center Foundation is dedicated to eliminating eating disorders by advancing education, prevention, advocacy, research and treatment. This workshop weaves together current research, treatment trends and clinical insight. Conceptualizing eating disorders as biopsychosocial phenomena puts to rest the validity of any dichotomy between the biology and the psychology of lived experience. Plato’s philosophical stance that “the cure of the part should not be attempted without treatment of the whole” underscores an emerging treatment paradigm blending holistic approaches with traditional practices to produce a “whole” that is greater than the sum of its parts. Stamford, CT, on Friday, May 4, 2018. The seminar is from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and offers 6 CE Credits. A continental breakfast and networking luncheon are also included.
