Samuel Stork, PsyD
About My Practice
I currently provide individual therapy and ADHD assessments for adults across Connecticut.
Therapeutic Philosophy
My therapeutic philosophy centers on helping clients strike a balance of understanding and honoring where they have been without allowing the past to dictate where they are going. Thus, as a therapist, my primary goal is to empower the clients I work with to live the life that they want to live. Additionally, effective therapy rests on the understanding that psychological health does not exist in a vacuum. Daily habits surrounding sleep, exercise, nutrition, and social connection directly influence cognitive and emotional well-being. A whole-person approach ensures that treatment addresses all of these important, interconnected factors rather than attempting to treat symptoms in isolation.
