Dr. Taylor specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety Disorders, including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Social Phobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Specific Phobias. She serves as a Clinical Advisor for the Connecticut Affiliate of the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation and served as a Clinical Instructor for the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation Behavior Therapy Institute. She appeared on the national television show 20/20 Downtown as an expert on the treatment of Scrupulosity or “religious” OCD.

Dr. Taylor’s book:  OCD: A Workbook for Clinicians, Children and Teens; Actions to Beat, Control & Defeat Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a user-friendly, creative and interactive book to help children and teens take control of OCD. With specific chapters for each type of OCD, children and teens learn cognitive behavioral strategies to overcome their obsessions and compulsions.

Dr. Taylor is a Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. She has taught courses in Abnormal and Clinical Psychology, Abnormal Psychology in Popular Films, Psychological Research, Positive Psychology, and the Psychology of Women.

Dr. Taylor is the co-facilitator of the Fairfield County OCD Support Group that meets virtually on the third Friday of the month from September to June –  Fairfield County OCD Support Group –
