Join a team of 19 mental health professionals! Solterra Academy’s approach to providing quality education programming for children with special needs rests on the interdisciplinary team model and a high staff to student ratio. Teams are comprised of Administrators, certified special education teachers, licensed clinical Social Workers, Clinical Psychologist, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, pediatric school nurses, classroom support staff and more.
Solterra Academy provides comprehensive special education for students ages 5 to 22 who require intensive intervention due to severe emotional, behavioral, cognitive, developmental and/or learning challenges.
We are searching for Licensed Clinical Psychologists who can provide a full range of clinical services to Solterra Academy students and their families including individual therapy, family counseling, parent education and support, crisis intervention, classroom consultation, individualized behavior plans, case coordination and collaboration, as well as classroom-based group therapy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Doctorate in Psychology
- Licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health preferred
- Post-Doctoral Supervision available if needed.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire (training provided by Solterra Academy).
- Certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention required with the first training course provided after hire date and maintained throughout employment (training provided by Solterra Academy).
Salary: $75,000-$90,000
