The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine seeks a half-time licensed clinical psychologist for the adult outpatient Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program of Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital (YNHPH).

The candidate will assist in the day to day clinical operations of the adult outpatient and intensive outpatient DBT services at YNHPH, provide direct clinical care (individual and group therapy) to patients, and provide support and supervision to advanced doctoral psychology interns and practicum students.

The position carries a clinical faculty appointment within the Department of Psychiatry, and includes participation in the Department’s APA-accredited Doctoral Psychology Internship Program.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional knowledge and skills in conducting individual and group Dialectical Behavior Therapy. They should have expertise in treating individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder and experience providing clinical supervision to doctoral level interns. Interest in teaching and collaboration in clinical research is a plus.

Candidates must be licensed (or licensed eligible) within the State of Connecticut and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to function well as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses.
