Call for Volunteers!


The American Red Cross seeks to expand its cadre of

Disaster Mental Health volunteers. 


In general, to be eligible you must be licensed by the state as an: LCSW, MFT, LPC, RN, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, or be certified as a School Psychologist[1]. Once trained and vetted by Red Cross, you would be able to provide Disaster Mental Health services locally or on deployment elsewhere in the U.S.  We’ve designed a one-day training program to prepare you to begin serving.  Please join the Red Cross Disaster Mental Health team today!

Training Dates/Locations:

March 15, 2014 – ARC Office, Waterford, CT

April 12, 2014 – ARC Office, New Haven, CT

May 3, 2014 – ARC Office, Bridgeport, CT

9:00 am – 1:30 pm
